Erica Riel-Carden helps run the firm’s AgTech Practice. She uses her in-depth knowledge of the food system to leverage new opportunities for startups, emerging growth companies, and investors. As a business attorney, she assists with preparing companies for financings, diligencing and corporate cleanup, and commercializing IP through technology transactions. Ms. Riel-Carden regularly speaks and writes on AgTech matters for private and corporate venture funds, international cooperatives, incubators and accelerators, university collaborations, trade organizations, and industry events. Prior to joining Royse Law Firm, Ms. Riel-Carden worked both in the startup market and public sector on regulatory compliance, licensing, and freedom to operate transactions related to commercializing different agricultural technologies.
