She has 5+ years experience in the space, with industry background across education, energy, technology, and construction. She currently works for Summit Materials, a building materials company focused in the aggregates and ready-mix space headquartered in Denver. Put simply, Summit crushes rocks and paves roads! Emily leads strategic efforts around benefits and wellness, employee life cycle implementation, functional process improvement, and serves as the HRBP for the shared services center in Kansas. Emily is constantly pushing the progressive HR boundaries when it comes to the employee value proposition, and loves being in a profession that drives impact across all levels of an organization. Outside of breathing HR, Emily can be found in the mountains hiking or on the couch re-watching her favorite shows – the perfect balance to an active lifestyle.
