Elizabeth has worked as a freelance translator since 2009, specialising in business and institutional translations, tourism, culture and wine, for clients including the European Commission, Spanish hotel chain H10 and Torres wines. She was based in Manchester, UK until seizing the opportunity to make the most of her freelance freedom and setting off around the world with Remote Year at the end of February 2016. While her business is still based in the UK, now that her Remote Year programme has finished she continues to take advantage of opportunities to travel, focusing on Europe and Latin America, to further develop her language skills and areas of specialisation.
