Hey! I'm Elise and I'm a culture and people geek. As we're navigating a world where a 9-5 is essentially nonexistent, I'm determined to figure out how to make work more meaningful and find a healthy balance with life. I entered the NYC tech scene in 2011, where I started working with a company called Next Jump. My responsibilities were everything related to people and I eventually launched their Culture Academy, whose mission is to share and teach best practices on culture. We hosted small, neighboring startups who were just figuring out their culture to companies like Zappos and Whole Foods, who were known for their culture. Interested in building a culture from the ground up, I joined CourseHorse in 2015 and am responsible for recruiting, retention, and overall happiness of our team of 20.
