Ekaterina's passion for people development comes from 20+ years of experience at McKinsey in client and non client facing roles. She left McKinsey this September to start her own practice focusing on recovery coaching, transitions, team dynamics, facilitation and training.

Ekaterina was a consultant before joining McKinsey's people function following her interest in talent management. Over the course of her career, she led talent acquisition and talent development programs with McKinsey&Company in London, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, India, APAC. As she grew in her tenure, her focus shifted from leading people operations towards leading strategic aspects of talent development.

She is a Certified Professional Coach, qualified to use a number of assessment tools (e.g., LCP, MBTI, Hogan suite). When coaching she blends approaches from her wide range of experiences, neuroscience and life-long learning, while focusing on the real needs of the people she engages with. She coaches people and facilitates programs across a wide variety of topics and issues, including, Leadership Effectiveness (e.g.,challenging conversations, presence, operating model); Transitions, Clarity and Moments of Choice (e.g., career change, progression, moments of disillusion); Management Toolkits (e.g., problem solving frameworks, top down communications, building effective teams, coaching colleagues, managing stakeholders); Building Resilience and Stamina (e.g., understanding stress, restoring confidence, destigmatizing mental health).

Ekaterina is a German citizen who made Asia home. She currently splits time between her home and family in Thailand, her company in Hong Kong, friends and clients in Singapore. She speaks English, Russian, German and Japanese. She is a single mother of a teenage boy and they both love to explore remote corners of the world.
