Domonique Davis is a native Detroiter and digital art enthusiast. She fell in love with design at an early in life landing her first graphic design internship at age 16. Davis later went on to study digital media art and technology at Michigan State University.
While interning at an IT company based in Lansing, MI, Davis leveraged HTML, CSS and WordPress to build several websites. Upon graduation, she was hired full time to maintain those sites. In 2011, she moved back to Detroit, MI to take on a role as project manager for the same media-based youth program where she held her first internship.
At the end of the grant period, she transitioned back into the private sector designing interactive and print collateral for Chevrolet, Cadillac, Harley Division, DTE and General Motors. Today, she works for Matrix Human Services as Webmaster and Lead Designer.
