Domenick Propati

Domenick Propati is the Chief Strategy Officer at ViaTouch Media - makers of VICKI an AI powered, IOT self-checkout solution for retail. He holds a Terminal Masters Degree in Design and Technology from Parsons the New School for Design and specializes in Design Thinking, Product Strategy, and Business Development. After earning his degree and transitioning from a working Jazz drummer to a "Strategy Guy", Domenick went on to help build many companies, products and education programs across various verticals. Some notable customers and collaborators include; The White House, General Assembly, NYC Mayors Office, Google, Black Girls Code, Estee Lauder, Smithsonian, Viacom, CITI Group, Sprint, Huffington Post, 7-Eleven, Hudson River Foundation, Apple, P&G, AFHU, YearUp, NASA, Dell, and EY.

Domenick is also a passionate educator whose had the privilege of developing and teaching UX intensive and Design Thinking courses for New York University, LIU and General Assembly. He has also been an invited speaker and guest lecturer at many prestigious universities and industry events including; Colgate, Wharton, Cornell, Columbia, Stanford, NYTech, Collision, The United Nations and many more. Most recently Domenick was named a 2019 guest artist and advisor at Yale's Center for Collaborative Arts and Media.

One of his greatest accomplishments outside of technology and design is being a featured performer at the Montreux Jazz Festival 07'
