My name is Derek Afriyie, I’m Jr. Site Reliability Engineer at Aera Technology, an AI company automating Supply Corporations. I was born in Brooklyn and raised in The Bronx but I rep both boroughs because they're both a part of my identity. Sitting before you is a former chess and gymnastics coach. I have previously worked on Cloud engineer teams for a small startup (Drata), a mid-size company (Pluralsight), and a Fortune-500 (Sony).
