Dami is a Data Scientist at HelioCampus, where she provides analytics and predictive support for higher institutions. She has extensive experience in research and data science tools development.

Prior to her work at HelioCampus, Dami was part of the analytics team at The Messina Group, a political consulting firm, where she worked with the team in experimenting with machine learning on political data. She also previous worked at 360i, a digital marketing and analytics agency, where she made major contributions to developing a self-automated data science platform. She focused primarily on gradient descent optimization and Bayesian structural time series. During her time there, Dami also provided analytics support to clients, specifically with regards to advertising budgeting.

Dami spends most of her spare time teaching data science and analytics at General Assembly. She enjoys engaging with people interested in data science and is always ready to learn about new technologies in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Dami is an avid Manchester United fan and is always up for a debate on why soccer is the best sport ever. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Chinese from Lawrence University and a master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
