Courtney Wu is the Founder and CEO of AMNESIA media, an influencer marketing platform designed for the cannabis space. At AMNESIA media we believe that community is at the core of cannabis education and mainstream cannabis adoption.
Early in her career, she worked at Planned Parenthood as a community educator as well as developed Project TOKEN in partnership with USDA, which focused on increasing youth civic engagement via their reproductive healthcare rights. The partnership resulted in the creation of the first system to anonymously monitor youth access to sexual health care services in real time.
She then moved to London and lead the global Pro & Celebrity Marketing department at PokerStars, where she navigated complex market regulations and helped brand poker as a competitive mind sport through strategic sponsorship deals with Rafael Nadal, Ronaldo and other notable athletes and celebrities.
During her time as CMO of Artisans on Fire, a cannabis marketing agency, she noticed the lack of infrastructure to support influencers in changing the perception of cannabis at scale. Drawing from her expertise in effecting change in both regulated markets and non-profit settings, she founded AMNESIA with the goal of making cannabis information easily accessible.
