Corey Maynard oversees YETI’s brand marketing communications, ecommerce, consumer experience, community marketing, and product management functions as a member of YETI’s senior executive team. Maynard has been in this role since 2013, during which time his team has launched two breakthrough new product lines (the Hopper soft sided coolers and Rambler vacuum insulated drinkware), revamped YETI’s digital marketing strategy, and released the award winning Built For the Wild advertising campaign.
Austin-based YETI Coolers was founded in 2006 by brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders, outdoorsmen who were unsatisfied with the performance of ordinary coolers. By developing a virtually indestructible solution that could keep ice for days, then marketing it to fellow outdoorsmen, they turned a category that had become disposable and mass retail driven into a premium business that thrived in independent retail. With a brand and products that are now widely coveted, YETI has grown at least 70% in every year since its inception.
