Cody Rushing
Cody Rushing is a Developer for GreenSync with 7+ years of commercial experience building web applications. His career began at digital agencies, where he developed browser-based experiences for clients such as BlackBerry, Samsung, and Southwest Airlines. While at Razorfish, he led a team of designers and engineers to the first place prize at a Google social-commerce hackathon. Prior to moving to Australia, he worked for Atlassian out of their newly-formed Austin Texas office, contributing to atlassian.com and hipchat.com.
Cody has found JavaScript to be an indispensable tool for the modern developer/maker, and is excited to engage with new students about their JavaScript projects. He is inspired by the work coming out of the data visualisation and "creative coding" communities, particularly projects that meet at the convergence of art, technology, and social issues.
