Chris Simmons is an industrial designer and ergonomist with a master’s degree in ergonomics, safety and health.
Chris has extensive global experience in the design and development of safe and effective products, systems and places of work. He has also provided expert input into the design of a range of products and systems - including technical sportswear, carry technology, wearable devices, medical devices, electronic devices, task seating and workstation solutions, and FMCG and e-commerce distribution centres. More recently, Chris has managed formal human factors (usability) evaluations and subsequent validations, of drug and medical device combination products for release onto the UK, US and Asian markets.
Chris is an experienced trainer specialising in manual work, product design, workplace design and workstation ergonomics, and as an experienced safety system auditor, has a strong working knowledge of health and safety requirements applicable in most Australian states
