My name is Chris Ogilvy, and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I began coding as a hobby in 2013 by teaching myself, and quickly realized software development was something I wanted to turn into a career. I worked as a Freelance Developer for 2 years, before completing an immersive software engineering course in New York City to really develop my skills. Since then, I have worked at InnovaSystems International as a Software QA Engineer, and then started working with General Assembly in October 2019. I am very excited to share my experience and expertise with all of my students to help them grow and change their lives, just like I did!
