The first code Chris ever wrote was an AppleScript that automated part of the invoicing process at a landscaping company he worked for. He progressed to JavaScript when he helped build an in-house scheduling app for the same company. Once this project wrapped up, Chris left 10 years of landscaping behind to pursue a formal programming career. Firstly, though, he needed to upskill a bit.
Initially, Chris took Udemy courses and eventually found GA which really accelerated things for him. Within a month of graduating, Chris started working for Kayo Sports, where he's been since August 2019.
