Cathy is VP of IT Business Operations at Liberty Mutual. In an era of digital disruption, she is responsible for empowering the technology organization with the tools, training, coaching and resources they need to transform the way they work and to build a fast, flexible, innovative and collaborative culture. In her role, she oversees IT Business Operations including Technology Communications, Technology Learning, Technology Procurement, and the Agile Enterprise Enablement Office.
Cathy brings more than 20 years of technology experience, including leading through change as the organization embraces an Agile approach to software development to meet the changing expectations of customers.
As the IT Executive sponsor of Liberty Mutual’s "Women in Technology" employee group, Cathy is passionate about leading and mentoring the next generation of women in IT. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern District YMCA of NH and recently participated in her second Pan-Mass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for Dana-Farber and cancer research, tackling 111 miles on her bike during the two-day ride. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
