Cassius Rayner has 23 years experience in all aspects of film production from camera operating to directing. His work has been varied from documentaries for the likes of the United Nations, PBS, ABC and BBC to dramas entering festivals around the world, with nominations and winner ‘Best Independent Film’.
For the last 4 years Cassius has dedicated his experience and skills to using smartphone technology to shoot professional video with. With the explosion in smartphone filmmaking globally, Cassius is a UK leading expert in this field. He now shoots content for a variety of clients just using smartphones and is a guest lecturer at the BFI, London Film Academy, London School of Economics and soon to start at the Met Film School in Ealing Studios.
In the last two years Cassius has received over 18 international Film Awards at festivals for a social impact video shot on an iPhone with co-directed with Dimple Devadas.
