Chicago

Casey is a speaker, user experience designer, teacher and award-winning filmmaker from Chicago. After receiving his BA in adolescent psychology, he taught middle school computers, ran a student travel company and saw the world by working a series of jobs ranging from beekeeping in South America to producing marketing materials for STA travel. He eventually returned to school to receive his master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University. During his time in the design field he has conducted user testing for the startup Detour, apprenticed at the Stanford d.school, taught UX design for General Assembly, spoken at multiple IxDA events, spoken at SXSW twice and designed for Digitas in Chicago. In his free time, he explores the city with his wife Jessie and son Henry.
