    Carla Durandisse started her career in marketing and advertising sales over 15 years ago before college. After interning at Miami International Airport's marketing department at age 16, she spent the next 10 years executing advertising, creative marketing, and brand strategy campaigns with some of the most recognized media outlets and digital platforms in the country before moving into program expansion at a local DC nonprofit. In 2020, she founded Black Women Getting Into Tech, an online platform for Black women with little to no experience in the tech space looking to break into the industry. Membership has reached over 10,000 members actively looking to make the career pivot into tech.
