Buddhi is the Principal Data Scientist at PredictiveHire, a startup with a mission to change the way candidate assessment is done, by leveraging the power of smart technology. Prior to that he was the Data Scientist at Orchestrated Systems and the Lead Data Scientist at Culture Amp, where he led various data science projects focused on people analytics. Buddhi has extensive experience conducting academic research and driving industrial software engineering projects in analytics, enterprise search, e-commerce and mobile applications. As Senior Research Fellow at the La Trobe University and Deakin University, he was part of a national big data project extracting information from Twitter streams using advanced text analytics. Buddhi’s academic research covers areas such as intelligent software agents, text analytics and predictive analytics. Buddhi holds a PhD in Computer Science from the RMIT University and a Master of Software Systems Engineering from the University of Melbourne. In his free time when he is not analysing any data, he is thinking about other data that can be analysed.
