Bryan Perry
Professor, Georgia State University
Bryan Perry has over 18 years experience designing, producing and developing projects in traditional and digital media. He has worked for companies and organizations as varied as CNN, J. Walter Thompson, United States Marine Corps, ING, Mother Nature Network/Narrative Content Group, CSX, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as well as several startups, non-profits and newspapers.
Through his experience working in journalistic environments he has become well-versed in using design and interaction to tell complex stories in compelling ways. He uses his broad and varied experience and skills to help clients use technology and design to tell the stories of their companies, brands, products, and services in ways that delight users by surpassing their expectations no matter the medium – traditional, new and emerging. He has won top industry awards including inclusion in the Communication Arts Interactive Annual, Two One Show Pencils, three Peabody Awards, as well as awards from the Society for News Design and the Edward R. Murrow Awards, among others.
Perry has degrees in English and Literature from Duke University and is currently pursuing his MFA in Graphic Design at Georgia State University where he also instructs undergraduates in design fundamentals.
