Brian Cama
Freelance Web Developer
Originally from the small town of Hilo, Hawaii, Brian has long had a passion for programming - specifically, creating websites. He was 11 when he first interacted with HTML in an ill-conceived attempt to collect and make available a collection of animated gifs from his favorite cartoons. While in college, Brian got his first paid gig making a simple content management system for a local observatory. After majoring in Mathematics and Economics, and then bouncing around a few different career paths (including teaching), Brian returned to web development and co-founded an agency based in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2011. There, he oversaw and helped manage and develop over 80 websites and projects with various organizations, including Special Olympics and the University of Maryland. He is currently a freelance web developer in Seattle.
