When you think about it, carrying around a Handycam everywhere Quincy and his teenage friends went was a huge effort. But that’s how it went in the 90s if you wanted to capture the moment; camera phones were something we all dreamed about! These days Quincy’s productions may be lot slicker (and feature fewer bad hair cuts), but that same love of storytelling and making people feel something still drives him.
With 15 years experience in the music and production industries, it wasn’t until starting The Grindhouse that the real learning began. With not much more than a rented desk and a borrowed chair, their beginnings were humble, but the vision to change the way stories are told through video was big. The Grindhouse have been fortunate enough to have worked with some amazing brands and some of the biggest local and international acts including John Farnham, Katy Perry, Hilltop Hoods, Metallica and Mumford & Sons. The logos of Google, Red Bull, Destination NSW + Myspace sit proudly on their website as happy customers.
