Bobby Hughes
Bobby Hughes is an award-winning senior designer and innovation consultant, passionate about creating human-centered products and engaging, playful learning experiences that cultivate positive change.
He led design efforts at Kaiser Permanente, served as a product designer and innovation consultant at IDEO, and is now a part-time lecturer at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (a.k.a. the d.school) and director of Aardvark Design Labs, a human-centered design consultancy focused on building innovation capabilities.
He is fortunate to enjoy consulting a variety of organizations, from schools to non-profits and corporations like Google, Nike, The North Face & The Gates Foundation, where he loves bringing a design approach to tackling complex systemic challenges. Bobby holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington and an MS in Engineering/Product Design from Stanford University.
