Bill brings over 20 years of experience in the design field, with a focus on design leadership since 2013. His career began in user interface design, spanning industries such as entertainment, consumer technology, and finance. He has had the privilege of working with renowned brands including NBC, A&E, Jaguar, Starwood, WWE, Capital One, ooVoo, Frito Lay, and Atari.

At Capital One, Bill led transformative design initiatives across Commercial Banking and Experience Design Operations. As Senior Design Manager, he co-led the design of the COMET loan origination platform, enhancing the loan process experience. Later, as Director of Design Practice, he led the Design Practice service within the Research & Design Operations organization. His leadership influenced over 600 designers, advancing skills in visual design, user research, and service design through Communities of Practice. Bill championed UX best practices and ensured alignment with Capital One’s design standards and strategic goals.

Prior to Capital One, Bill served as Director of Product Design at ooVoo, where he spearheaded a user-centered transformation that expanded the user base from 40 million to 100 million. This experience honed his expertise in scaling design efforts and leading impactful teams.
