Ben Junya is ̶a̶ ̶h̶u̶g̶e̶ ̶n̶e̶r̶d̶ the lead Front End Architect and UI engineer at Zeconomy Inc, a financial technology startup based in New York City. Ben graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Music Education, and taught himself how to code all on his own. Some of Ben's notable tools he is familiar with are Webpack, ES6, React, and more.
Ben is a 72andSunny Alumni and has worked on various popular brands such as Samsung, Sonos, Target, and Starbucks. Ben has also worked on enterprise level web applications like Lexus.com and was previously a contractor at Team One Advertising. Ben also teaches Javascript classes with App Academy (appacademy.io).
When Ben's not pushing buttons at a computer, he enjoys bodybuilding, SCUBA diving, Burning Man, and adventuring on the weird side of YouTube.
