    Bec Badcock

    Former Senior Product Manager, WooliesX

    Sydney

Over the past decade, Bec Badcock has honed her product craft in the Sydney Tech scene working with startups and large corporates, such as The Iconic, WooliesX, Search Party, Subway US, Coles Supermarkets, and Schwarzkopf UK. Bec specialises in greenfield product builds and has extensive experience in SaaS products, marketplaces and eCommerce. In 2020, Bec started a mentoring program for up-and-coming product managers and has come on board as a Lead Instructor at General Assembly to pass on her knowledge and grow the next generation of product managers.

A General Assembly success story, Bec Badcock completed one of the first part-time product management courses offered in Sydney back in 2014. At the time, her motivation was to solidify her hands-on product experience with theoretical knowledge – Bec is glad she did! A true believer in the content and skills it teaches, Bec has since sent several team members to complete the course. Professionally, she found it can open doorways throughout her product career. The instructor connection is how she landed her product management role at The Iconic in 2018.
