Bea is currently a Planning Director at We Are Social in Singapore - she has global consumer, digital, and social media marketing expertise from past in-house (MAC Cosmetics, Dubai Tourism) and agency roles (Ogilvy, Cake, Anomaly) from Manila to New York and Dubai.
Bea started her career at Ogilvy PR in Manila, then moved to New York to pursue an MA in Media Studies at The New School. After earning her degree, she joined Cake Group NY (HAVAS) as a Social Marketing Manager, where her clients included Motorola and Havaianas, after which she led Budweiser Global & US' social media strategy and execution at Anomaly in New York.
Bea switched gears and went brand-side, joining MAC Cosmetics as Global Consumer Marketing Director in New York, then took on her first public sector role as Dubai Tourism's Head of Consumer Marketing for Asia Pacific in the UAE, prior to joining We Are Social in Singapore in January 2021.
When she’s not working, Bea enjoys local foodie adventures with her husband.
