Ashwini Deshpande

Ashwini Deshpande is a recent first class honours graduate of London College of Fashion, and a self-taught digital fashion designer. She is the Head of 3D Design and Production at the fully digital fashion brand, Republiqe.

Her graduate collection was fully digital and displayed in a self-made virtual reality environment. She was featured in Dazed as one of five cyber designers paving the way for the fashion metaverse, and was named an East London Innovator for the year 2020.

She has worked closely with the Fashion Innovation Agency during her time at LCF. While at university, she founded Art-Z, a fabric waste reduction software, which has been featured in Forbes, Grazia, Wonderland, Microsoft's podcast and in their Garage at Silicon Valley, at the London Design Festival, and more. She also won several contests and funding, including the London Mayor's competition and Microsoft's Future of Fashion contest, for her idea.

Ashwini hosted several seasons of the Fashion Vanguards podcast series, and has moderated panels covering topics across fashion, sustainability and tech.
