Anne Pao is a cross-functional analytics and operations leader with 14 years experience managing projects and teams across tech, biotech, and public health sectors. As Director of Decision Support Systems and Integration at Medallia, Anne is focused on enterprise data strategy, cloud application reporting and integration optimization. Previous to Medallia, Anne worked for 5 years in Africa, first in Swaziland with the Clinton Health Access Initiative where she supported a nation-wide treatment as prevention program with the Ministry of Health as its strategic information management advisor. Thereafter, Anne earned her MBA (cum laude) from University of Cape Town, launched a community engagement platform and worked as Head of Data and Analytics for a business intelligence consulting company and then one of Africa’s top digital marketing agencies.
Passionate about active citizenship in support of gender equality, Anne has served as board member and operations director for education non-profits in the United States and Africa. She is a steering committee member for Medallia’s Women@ group and spearheaded the development and launch of the first company-wide mentorship program for women. She joins UN Women, Silicon Valley as a founding board member and Senior Vice President. Anne spends her free time traveling internationally, eating out in San Francisco and hiking or trail running outdoors with her husband and son.
