I got a BSc and MSc in Mathematics in Naples (Italy) and then I moved to Milan for a PhD in Computational Biology where I focused on analysis of Genomic data and there I fell in love with Machine Learning and AI. After I applied for the ASI fellowship in Data Science in London where I started my career as Data Scientist.
I have worked 3 years in a Data Science focused consultancy company called QuantumBlack. I solved data science problems for Pharma, Automotive and Oil and Gas companies.
I joined Channel4 five months ago, dealing with targeted advertisement, recommending systems and forecasting of viewers.
I love board games, I am a TV-series addicted and I’ve been part of a team of Italian fun-subbers for the last 10 years that revolutionised TV broadcasting in Italy (they made a documentary on us!). I have 6 nieces and 1 nephew that I adore and I am clearly their favourite aunt.
