Anita is a former cancer researcher who went into tech to help people faster. She gets to do just that working for government, currently as a content designer for San Francisco Digital Services. She got into public speaking to be more impactful in her work, starting with Toastmasters to help her be more comfortable working with her stutter. Anita now wants to tell everyone about all the awesome things that her team been doing, and resolved to develop conference speaking skills. She attended the first Women Talk Design workshop, and subsequently has spoken at IA Conference, Confab, Code for America Summit, DotGov Design, and World IA Day SF.
