Andrew, our head training & wholesale account manager, is an avid coffee enthusiast and a licensed Q-grader (read: an accredited coffee professional who is certified to evaluate the quality of coffee.. and can identify all 36 common aromatic scents found in the aroma of coffee!). Andrew cups daily for green bean purchasing & quality control, recently spent time in Colombia building relationships with specialty coffee producers & sourcing new coffees, and in April will travel to the Specialty Coffee Expo in Seattle to represent The Grounds Roastery.
