Andrei Guschin

Andrei has been teaching Sustainable Product Design and Technology Entrepreneurship to graduate students at the UW Foster Business School. He co-founded two CleanTech startups, leading Product Management and Product Development. He also started the PNW Chapter of CleanTech Open. Currently, Andrei is engaged with Element 8 Angel Investors Club, performing due diligence on CleanTech startups, a judge at the Alaska Airlines Environmental Innovation Challenge and Member, Advisory Council, Business Leaders for Climate Solutions. Earlier in his career, he was conducting Product Life Cycle Assessments at Ford, MIT and 3M, and was a partner development consultant to IT companies, ranging from startups to Fortune 1000 firms.

Andrei believes that designing products with environment in mind should not be an exception but a norm, as it allows businesses to make more money, first and foremost, and saving the planet is a bonus. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and everything that helps the planet be a better place. While in school, Andrei competed on a swim team and was a best student in physics and math. When not working, he is enjoying swimming, outdoors, theater and traveling internationally. He was in Paris 26 times.
