Andrea Coens
Director of User Experience, Shoefitr
As a designer and researcher at Shoefitr, Andrea Coens makes the shoe-buying process more delightful for users and less wasteful for retailers by combining her love of physical products and ergonomics with interaction design and user research. Prior to joining startup life, Andrea has worked in the digital realm designing enterprise software tools, a collaborative pathology platform, and revamped online news consumption. In a tangible space, she has created products for household consumers, large-scale hospitality projects, and public furniture installations. Andrea is a believer that user centered design is medium-agnostic.
Andrea holds degrees in Industrial Design and Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
