Amber Dermoudy is an entrepreneur and digital marketing specialist with a passion for building and promoting communities of interest. A pseudo-geek at heart, Amber has a special interest in emerging technologies especially in the mobile, VR and wearables space.
Currently, Amber is a Digital Account Director at One Green Bean, a PR and communications agency brilliant at helping brands engage audiences through big ideas, not big media spends. Her clients include Toyota Australia, Palmolive AU&NZ, the nbn™ Network and Destination Queenstown.
In the past she was Head of Digital for Launch Group Australia, a communications agency specialising in the coverging worlds of technology, media and entertainment, during this tenure she was also Social Lead for TEDxSydney, Australia’s largest TED event.
Amber brings to the table a wealth of experience across various industries, having worked both in-house and agency side, and with a successful exit from her own startup in 2012, Amber has an in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace which she hopes to impart and share with her students.
Amber is a returning instructor, having taught her first course with General Assembly in 2015.
