In 2009 Amanda Campbell suffered a major MS attack that left her paralysed and was given a 50% chance of ever walking again.
Unprepared to accept this as her fate, within six weeks, she stunned her doctors by not only walking, but running. This prompted her to swap a fast paced career in the fashion industry to go back to study to enable her to understand how she achieved a rapid recovery.Having become an accredited Sports Kinesiologist, Amanda founded Bend Like Bamboo her private practice in 2013, where team help others rebuild their lives from illness and stress.
Amanda co-founded Nourissh.com in 2014 with the goal of delivering nutritious wholefood meals to people across Australia, after she discovered the role quality food played in her recovery.Amanda strongly believes that by eating the right food and working on our emotional well being, we are then giving our body the right environment it needs to repair and thrive.
Taking a balanced approach, Amanda believes that nourishing her body on a cellular level, understanding her mind and connecting with herself again, gave her the best chance of recovery, to living a happy fulfilling life.
In her latest project www.amandacampbell.com.au she shares her emotional work, recipes and real life experience about how she achieved a reset of the body and mind.
Amanda speaks at events to educate and inspire others that they too can make a transformation in business and their personal lives.
She discusses how adopting optimal nutrition whilst understanding the mind-body connection, helped her transform her body and life.
These lessons that she now translates into business gave her body the right environment to repair, reorganise and recover from her paralysis.
At her core Amanda believes that renewal can be possible if you give your body the right environment it needs.
