In our culture of 24/7 'always-on' connectivity, taking a step back is vital to re-energise the mind and the body. Successful people know being busy all the time will lead to missed opportunities and lack of clarity.

So how do we integrate mindfulness into our lives to stay creative and focussed in order to passionately pursue a career of purpose?

General Assembly have teamed up with Smiling Mind, Swisse, Lulelemon, Nourissh and Plato Project to present a panel discussion around mindfulness and personal empowerment. Come and learn tips and tools that will help you take control of your life and be your absolute best self. On the evening, we'll discuss:

  • What mindfulness is, and what all the fuss is about
  • How to incorporate an active lifestyle into your daily life
  • Ways to consciously connect & disconnect, by yourself or with others
  • Ways to advocate for mindfulness within the workplace
  • Tips on developing a regular mindfulness practice that’s fun, relaxing and energising

We will explore different mindfulness tools that can help us to stay present, resourceful and resilient, allowing us to enhance a purposeful working life and personal life to set ourselves up for success.
