Alwyn has spent the better part of his career working on banking software systems, and lucked out by starting out with one of the leading US investment banks. Today he is part of Open Government Products, an experimental development team within GovTech Singapore that builds technology products with significant public impact.
Alwyn is a keen advocate of open-source software and tech community engagement, and is facinated by what a community of strangers can do when they come together to work on something. In addition to making contributions across a variety of community projects, Alwyn also open-sourced MockPass, which has helped engineering teams with their integrations with Singpass and MyInfo, by providing a locally-run service that mimics the two.
In a previous life, Alwyn played the piano and cello.
