Alicja is currently employed as a frontend developer at Australia Post and has four years’ industry experience. She has a passion for both design and programming and thrives in her current role which incorporates both disciplines.
Alicja is a firm believer that age is not an obstacle to learning as long as you have enough motivation and determination. She completed her Bachelor of IT as a mature age student which saw a a dramatic change in her career as a result.
In her spare time Alicja mentors kids at a coding club she established in Carlton on behalf of CoderDojo; a worldwide movement of free, volunteer-led programming clubs for kids.
Outside of work you will find her on her trusty touring bike, running the paths around Maribyrnong river, taking snaps with her DSLR camera or back at her computer designing and programming her personal projects.
