Alex is a machine learning engineer at Yelp, where he focuses on the local services product. He previously spent four years building machine learning models for Yelp's Trust and Safety team. Alex studied mathematics at Harvard and MIT, and learned how to code as a hobby before realizing that it would make a great profession. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing the piano.
