Alex Beers is a SEI Instructor with a passion for problem-solving. Alex started his career as a structural engineer working for a total of five years in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts. He then attended General Assembly to transition to the world of software development where he then worked as a software engineer for Wayfair for three years. Alex is thrilled to be back on General Assembly's Boston campus to teach the SEI program. When away from campus, Alex can probably be found playing games, creating mashups, or hanging out with his wife and cat.
