    About this event

Ever wondered how you can start your application on different environments in a faster way? Docker is the world's leading software container platform. Developers use Docker to eliminate "works on my machine" problems when collaborating on code with co-workers. This workshop is an introduction to Docker. It will cover what Docker is and how it differs from Virtual Machines (VMs). We will talk about its benefits, and go through a "getting started" tutorial together. You will need to know the basics of using the unix command line for this workshop, so bring your laptop.
