About this event

Talent -Harnessing your competitive advantage in the digital world.

As technology disrupts and redefines the digital landscape and whole industries, both career change and possibilities are endless. Amongst it all, where do you focus your development and how can you maximize your competitive advantage? It’s important to develop skills that stand the test of time.

On July 11 2017, Women in Digital will bring together three senior industry professionals to present on the topic of talent, and provide ideas & tips that will ensure you stay ahead of the curve.

Karen Lewis (Vice Chair, AIMIA), Krix Howard (Director of Developer Relations, YOW!) and Evelyn Kipriotis (Head of Marketing, Millers) will explain their views on talent development (and talent shortages) in the industry and explain what types of skills are highly valuable.

Our industry leaders will present their thoughts on topics such as: - Role opportunities in the market - Areas of skill shortage - What kind of roles are emerging - What kind of roles might become redundant - What marketing skills remain constant despite the industry of change we exist in - The value of transferable skills

The presentations will be followed by a moderated panel where our leaders can discuss different thoughts regarding talent in the digital industry. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
