    About this event

Featured Expert: Leslie Hochsztein is an Enterprise Application Engineer Specialist at General Electric and a WIFTA Board Member. As a web developer and former film publicist, Leslie will share her insight into building websites as well as how to present film work on the web.

Overview: Women In Film and Television Atlanta (WIFTA) is dedicated to improving the status and portrayal of women in film, television, video and other screen-based media by offering opportunities for media makers to connect, create, champion and inspire. In a digital world, filmmakers need to share their projects easily and in a well-designed, organized manner. Learn to put your trailer, portfolio or film on a stylish website to drive your viewers to a common location online.

What You’ll Take Away: During this workshop, attendees will build a basic website using HTML for structure and CSS styling, as well as how to code a video into your site.

Why It Matters: You put a lot of work into your films. Learn how to show them off online and kickstart learning an ever-more-essential skill: how to code!
