This class aims to demystify UX by giving a practical and simple introduction to what UX is while also explaining some of its core concepts of usability. This is a field that affects all areas of business — prepare to dip your toes into an ocean of new concepts and ideas that will enlighten your perspective on the human-computer interaction experience.
General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.
If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

Kiri is a UX designer with a passion for designing products that delight users. Kiri started her career in Industrial Design (designing things like shoes, toys and sunglasses) before transitioning into UX and working on digital products. These days, you can find Kiri living in London and doing UX and UI contract work for a range of companies in addition to teaching remote classes with GA. In her spare time, she loves traveling, photography and hiking with her dog.
