It can be difficult for non-developers to get into the mindset of developers, to understand how to attract them, how to talk to them or how to understand them. In many cases, the technical details of a project is seen as a magical black box by many, and this often leads to misunderstandings and problems down the line.
In this talk, Jon Gjengset will try to shed some light on the world of code and coders. The goal is to give you a greater understanding of both how to attract good developers in the first place, and how to work well with them afterwards.
The session will introduce fundamental software engineering concepts, higher-level considerations about application development and interacting with developers. This will help you develop your tech vocabulary so that you can get more involved in the software powering your product.
No previous experience nor preparation required. This is not a coding class, but some understanding of elementary coding might help.
