Data science has been touted as the "sexiest job" of the 21st century, prompting an influx of people into the industry, many who are transitioning from other careers. Curious to know how?
We're bringing together leaders from Accenture and Averity to discuss how they made the leap into data science, what makes an "ideal" data scientist and how to get your foot in the door when faced with the challenge of a career change.
Panelists: EJ (Vivek) Pandey, Full Stack Engineer and Data Scientist at Accenture Matt Stabile, VP, Head of Data Science and Data Engineering Recruiting Team at Averity

Since then, he has been using his multi-faceted exposure in tech to build intelligent applications powered by data, lead small teams in fast-paced startup environments, and serve as a bridge between engineering and data science teams. Outside of his day job at Accenture New York, EJ is also the technical co-founder of early stage startups Veniqa and Qarece, and a Nepalese R&B Artist.
