About this event

On Friday, April 17th, the founders of reddit, Gizmodo, The Container Store, Maker Faire, and more will share their insider guidance on how to make startups grow. Each founder will tell his or her story, and then lead a panel of experts on topics like the role of corporations in society, commerce versus creativity, and how to build big ideas in small towns.

The Founders Summit is day of talks, socializing, and ideas. It is preceded and followed by the Founders Festival, a weeklong party featuring over 150 bands and artists at multiple venues throughout Charlottesville’s historic downtown.
