About this event

How can you make a living doing work that’s deeply meaningful to you? How can you get paid for who you are? Is it possible to make a career change once you’ve spent years already going down one path? How can you find a job that actually makes you excited to wake up in the morning? If you’re struggling with any of these questions, then this special event is calling your name.

As 20- and 30-somethings, we’re well-aware that it’s possible to have it all. Sometimes we’re too aware – when we see that our Facebook friends are saving the world, launching ambitious startups, and getting engaged to the men and women of their dreams, we can spiral downward into jealousy and panic.

Join author and GA instructor, Adam “Smiley” Poswolsky, for a discussion about his new book, The Quarter-Life Breakthrough: Invent Your Own Career Path, Find Meaningful Work, and Build a Life That Matters, which was published by Penguin Random House on October 4, 2016. Smiley grappled with his own quarter-life crisis, before quitting a prestigious government job in Washington, D.C. and moving to San Francisco to become a writer, public speaker, and career coach. He now helps other millennials go from overdosing on Facebook-induced FOMO to finding meaningful work.

Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
